DESULPHURIZATION SYSTEMS WITH H2S-ADSORBER

High sulphur concentrations are poison for any system. adsorptec GmbH offers suitable desulphurization systems, also as a retrofit kit for existing installations - regardless of the treatment process used. This significantly reduces maintenance costs and protects the plant technology.

In the field of biogas treatment, activated carbon adsorbers are designed and manufactured according to requirements.

Coarse desulphurization of the raw biogas offers the following advantages:

  • Less biofouling and biocorrosion
  • Less corrosion of the centrifugal pump
  • No sulphur deposits in the entire equipment
  • Lower fresh water consumption in washes
  • Reduction of H2S input in the post-combustion of the lean gas, less SO2 in the exhaust air
  • Less compressor maintenance (H2S acidification of the lubricating oil, etc.)


In combination with adsorptec oxygen PSA systems, the sulphur concentration can also be significantly reduced during fermentation.
