O2 PSA SYSTEM FOR OXYGEN PRODUCTION

We develop and build customized plants for oxygen production using the pressure swing adsorption process (PSA – Pressure Swing Adsorption).

The PSA plants are designed according to the required oxygen demand and your other requirements. The amount of oxygen produced is controlled by the product removal rate. The more oxygen is required, the more is supplied by the system. Our systems are characterized by a robust design in chemical standard for industrial use. The systems are equipped with a Siemens PLC with touch panel. The pressure swing adsorption system operates at ambient pressure and temperature and does not require any external materials other than electricity.

We are able to supply the system as a module, pre-assembled on a skid or assembled in a container ready for use.

Oxygen PSA systems are used for the removal of sulphur from biogas, in aquaculture, in ozone and water treatment, in medical oxygen applications, in mining and mineral processing, in military and field hospitals and much more.

With the oxygen from our oxygen PSA systems, biogas is effectively desulphurized during fermentation.

O2 PSA SYSTEM FOR THE REMOVAL OF SULPHUR FROM BIOGAS

Pressure swing adsorption system for effective removal of sulphur from biogas during fermentation. In biological desulphurization, the hydrogen sulphide is oxidized by microorganisms into elemental sulphur and water by adding oxygen. The sulphur remains in the fermentation residue and increases its fertilizing value. The purified gas passes through the further treatment stages.

SHORT AMORTIZATION TIMES FOR THE PLANT:

  • No costs for adding iron salts. Cost-intensive dosing of iron-II-chloride solutions and iron hydroxide is not required
     
  • Longer service life of the activated carbon filters
     
  • Minimization of downtime due to failures caused by corrosion. Hydrogen sulphide is converted to sulphur dioxide during the combustion of the biogas, which leads to corrosion of fittings and motors

 
 

  • Minimal operating and maintenance costs
     
  • Easily controllable oxygen generation also enables good control in terms of explosion protection.
